Carshalton Fireworks 2011
Wallington and Carshalton Round Table proudly donated over £20,000 to local wide ranging charities in January 2011.
We donated to many charities who are local to Wallington and Carshalton and support a mixture of causes. They include local branches of Mencap, Cystic Fibrosis, Alzheimers, as well as to Sea Cadets, local Scout groups, Radio St.Helier, St.Johns Ambulance, Cricket for Change and others.
Wallington and Carshalton Round Table have been providing a Fireworks and Bonfire display to the local community for over 50 years. The number of people attending this spectacular event has grown to around 15,000. This huge event costs us in excess of £30,000 to organise. All funds after these costs are given to Charity, with the majority going to local organisations, in previous years we have supported charities supporting the elderly, the young, the sick, the terminally ill, the disabled and many more. In a good year we have been able to give away over £25,000. If your company could support us , by advertising in our entrance programme or by sponsoring the bonfire we will, with your help, be able to continue to organise this wonderful display and support worthy charities.
